The format of the book will be thematic and will include reminiscences by former pupils, staff and governors, as well as important event in the history of the school.
- Origins - The early history of the School and its charismatic founder, Alexander Devine.
- Change and Continuity - The School's ethos, its peripatetic existence, the House system, chapel, the development of the Prep school and co-education.
- Surroundings - The Iwerne Minster estate and major school developments.
- Endeavour -The academic side of school life, sport, art, music, drama, indoor and outdoor activities, excursions and the CCF.
- Enterprise - Devine and the reform of exams, manuals, the Print Shop, Electric Car, Duke of Edinburgh, Young Enterprise and Clayesmore Lecture.
- Friendship and Individuals - The community, influential Clayesmorians and OC Society.
- Curiosities - The Montenegrin connection, Craigend park, fires and the fire engine, the Hardy letter and Lady of Shalott.
- Celebrations - Christmas hangings, leavers' balls and the Centenary
- Future - The role of the Clayesmore Society and the opportunities and challenges ahead for the School.
Advisory Editor: Tony Chew has been Head of History at Clayesmore for over twenty-five years. He was Housemaster of Devine for fifteen years and edited The Clayesmorian magazine for fourteen. He is currently Senior Master, Head of Sixth Form and is also the School Archivist, contributing regularly to the annual Old Clayesmorian magazine.
