'Rock’s mission is, and always has been, to imbue pupils with the educational tools and the confidence to go out into the world to make a difference – just as it was when Père Jules Leman founded the school. Today 'Rock alumni can be found in every walk of Irish national life and internationally exerting their influence in every part of the globe.
Now with your help, this book will be truly of and for the College. It’s the experiences of ‘Rock boys through the generations that we’ll be highlighting:
If you have a special memory or anecdote of your time in 'Rock, or if you have memorabilia or photographs, we’ll be delighted to hear from you. We won’t have space to include everything, but all will be logged in the College Archive.
And on that subject, fire damage to the archives in 1984 destroyed many photographs particularly those dating from the 1970s, so we will hope to receive replacements for that era.
With your help, we will produce a beautiful and richly entertaining anniversary volume that everyone who knows and loves Blackrock will be proud to own.
And don’t forget: if you order now, you will get this magnificent book at a special price AND your name will be included in a list of subscribers contained in the book itself.
